Social Media Projects

    • The main goal was to create an online presence and showcase their company and its values.

    • To showcase the company, I created, planned and executed several videos posted on their YouTube, Facebook and Instagram accounts.

      • I interviewed different employees on their experience at M. Dyer Global while getting a glimpse who they are.

    • As marketing specialist, I was tasked to manage M. Dyer's Instagram, Facebook and YouTube accounts. I was assigned to create content and post weekly on their accounts.

    • I was able to increase the traffic on their accounts with the videos posted on their accounts.  Between June 2021 and July 2021,  the total amount of engagements on their Instagram account increased over 100% compared to the months before.

    • The most views on a video was about 10.9k views. All videos posted averaged 1100 views per video.

    • The Hogan Program wanted to create an online presence, but stay relevant with college students. It wanted to develop fun, informational and relatable content for its target audience. On top of that, it wanted to promote the program to increase applicants.

    • I assisted the Hogan Program with. creating compelling and aesthetic posts for its Instagram account.

    • I built their social media calendar for the school year and maintained a revolving system of posts per week.

    • I was tasked with email marketing through Constant Contact. I maintained a weekly schedule of designing and sending email blasts for events.

    • I helped build a trove of new photos and videos for the program by taking photos at events and interviewing alumni and current program students.

    • AARP used its social media to promote upcoming events and advocate for different policies/bills that impact Hawaii's kupuna (elder generation).

    • I helped maintained their social presence on Instagram and Facebook by creating and posting videos on different advocacy campaigns like caregiver tax credit.

    • Public Relations related: I assisted in tracking AARP mentions through Cision.

    • I assisted in taking videos of volunteers at events that support nationwide campaigns.

    • Re-Thread's goal was to build an online presence, promote their pouches and advocate environmental concerns.

    • By the end of the competition (about a month), Re-Thread gained 128 followers with 22 posts and reached over 4,000 accounts.

    • I also managed their online store throughout the competition and helped manage inventory. Their online store was powered by Wix and designed by me.
