Re-Thread was a temporary small business that opened to compete in the Chaminade University’s School of Business and Communications Silversword Business Plan Competition. Re-Thread sold handmade pouches made from unwanted clothes to help reduce textile waste.
The logo was created in collaboration with the four owners. The prefix re symbolizes the group’s effort to reusing unwanted clothes. While brainstorming, the group was spitballing anything that relates to what they were doing. Then Re-Thread was born — the art of ripping the seams, replacing, and transforming it to a pouch.
